Employees, clients and media came to celebrate the opening of GSI’s new location in NYC. John Donahoe, president and CEO of eBay, was in attendance and expressed his excitement to the crowd. “We see the consumer is changing the way they engage with brands. They want a seamless shopping experience -- whether it be online or in the store. Retailers and brands need effective demand generation to succeed in this multichannel commerce environment and GSI provides unmatched marketing services to drive consumers to their stores.”
Along with eBay and PayPal Media Network, GSI has brought together all of its demand generation and marketing services organizations to the 1350 Broadway office. The innovative digital marketing suite of products and services includes marketing strategy and design, email marketing, retargeting, affiliate, database and mobile marketing as well as advertising analytics and attribution management.
“NYC is the center of marketing and media and home to the largest brands and retailers. So we are happy to fulfill our vision of increasing our presence here to better serve our clients,” said Reuben Hendell, head of Agency Services for GSI.

GSI Marketing Services was just cited as a “top 15 largest U.S. digital agency” according to Advertising Age’s 2012 Agency Report for the third consecutive year and this center for marketing services will allow its business to grow even further and solidify GSI as a leader in interactive digital commerce marketing.
“It is an exciting time to be in the commerce space and we have a great story to tell,” said Chris Saridakis, president of GSI. “As part of the eBay family, we get to change the face of commerce and create new and innovative solutions with amazing talent. GSI-- together with eBay-- enables consumers to buy anything, anywhere, and anyhow,” said Saridakis.
