Global Sports Announces Former FOGDOG CEO TIme Harrington's Departure

GLOBAL SPORTS, INC. (NASDAQ: GSPT), a leading developer and operator of e-commerce sporting goods businesses, today announced that former Fogdog, Inc. CEO, Tim Harrington, has resigned from Global Sports. Global Sports acquired Fogdog during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2000 and operates the www.fogdog.com Web site.

Mr. Harrington, 44, oversaw the launch and growth of the Fogdog Web site from an unknown startup to one of the leading online sporting goods retailers between 1998 and 2000.

Prior to Fogdog, Mr. Harrington held senior management positions with GolfWeb.com and Cobra Golf, following a 17-year career with IBM.
