Global Sports Enters into Marketing Relationship with Excite @ Home
GLOBAL SPORTS, INC. (NASDAQ: GSPT), a leading developer and operator of e-commerce sporting goods businesses, announced today that it has signed a marketing agreement with Excite@Home (NASDAQ: ATHM), the leader in broadband. As part of the agreement, sporting goods retailers for which Global Sports develops and operates e-commerce businesses will become featured tenants within the Sports & Fitness area of Excite.com.
Excite@Home will feature the following Global Sports-operated Web sites in the Excite Sports & Fitness Shopping area: The Sports Authority (www.thesportsauthority.com), Oshmans Sporting Goods (www.oshmans.com), Sport Chalet (www.sportchalet.com), MC Sports (www.mcsports.com), and Dunhams Sports (www.dunhamssports.com).
Furthermore, these retailers will be featured in Excite@Homes product merchandising database and included throughout Excite.com.
