GSI Commerce and Aéropostale Extend E-Commerce Partnership through 2018

Services Expanded to Include E-Mail and Additional Marketing Services

NEW YORK and KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., – Sept. 24, 2008 – Aéropostale Inc. (NYSE: ARO) a mall-based specialty retailer of casual and active apparel for young men and women, and GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIC), a leading provider of e-commerce and multichannel solutions, today announced an extension of their e-commerce agreement through 2018. GSI will continue to provide Aéropostale with a full-service, integrated solution, including e-commerce technology, order management, customer care and fulfillment, and interactive marketing services through GSI’s marketing services division, gsi interactivesm.

As part of this contract extension, gsi interactive will provide Aéropostale with digital solutions including usability, Web design, interactive technology, and product photography. gsi interactive, which is the full-service digital marketing and design agency of GSI, will also be Aéropostale’s primary e-mail service provider for the company’s e-mail marketing campaigns.
