GSI Commerce Appoints Scott Hardy Executive Vice President – Business Management

Hardy Brings Deep Professional Services Experience to GSI

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., May 21, 2007 – Michael G. Rubin, chairman, president and chief executive officer of GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIC), today announced that Scott Hardy has joined the company as executive vice president – business management. Hardy, a recognized leader in the consumer/retail sector of the professional services industry, will report directly to Rubin and will oversee driving the growth, profitability and satisfaction for GSI’s growing partner base.

Prior to joining GSI, Hardy led the consumer markets segment in the Americas at BearingPoint, Inc., a global management and technology consulting company. He oversaw some of BearingPoint’s largest commercial engagements in areas such as business transformation, customer management, workforce optimization, merchandising, and store operations.
