GSI Commerce Receives ‘Core Competency, Best-of-Breed’ Marks in eCommerce Platform Technology and Fulfillment Services From Independent Research Firm

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Nov. 21, 2008 – GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIC), a leading provider of e-commerce and multichannel solutions, today announced the company has received core competency/best-of-breed ratings in the key areas of e-commerce platform technology and fulfillment services in a recent evaluation of full-service e-commerce solutions conducted by Forrester Research.  Forrester Research evaluated GSI’s capabilities in an October 2008 report titled, Market Overview: Full-Service e-Commerce Solutions.

GSI received core competency/best of breed ratings in the key areas of e-commerce platform technology and fulfillment services. The company showed strong competency in the categories of merchandising and site administration tools, merchandising services, online marketing services, customer service management and order management.
