kate spade Selects E-Commerce Solution from GSI Commerce to Provide Online Retailing Showcase
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Aug.16, 2004 – GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIC) today announced it was selected by kate spade, the NewYork-based design company, to provide it with a comprehensive, e-commerce solution to launch and operate an online retail store at www.katespade.com.
The new, online retail store is expected to launch later this year, and will offer a selection of kate spade products, which include handbags, stationery, shoes, eyewear, beauty, and the newly launched home collection of tabletop, bedding and bath.
Under the terms of the agreement, GSI Commerce will develop for kate spade an online retail store that will operate on GSI Commerce’s e-commerce platform and take advantage of the company’s expertise in Web store design, e-commerce technology, online marketing services, fulfillment and customer service.
