PAX TV Announces Direct Response and E-Commerce Agreement with Global QVC Solutions

GLOBAL-QVC SOLUTIONS, a contextual commerce service provider for television networks and cable channels, and PAX TV, the nation’s number one family-friendly broadcast television network, announced today an alliance to develop and operate a new direct response program and e-commerce store at www.pax.tv.

The new PAX TV direct response operation will feature promotional spots showcasing PAX program related merchandise. PAX TV will develop the promotional spots, while Global-QVC Solutions will handle all other aspects of the commerce operation, including customer service, fulfillment and merchandising. In addition, Global-QVC Solutions will operate a PAX TV e-commerce store that features additional PAX TV merchandise. The new e-commerce store launched in the fourth quarter of 2001.

The products featured in on-air promotional spots will be contextually applicable to the PAX TV program schedule. PAX TV reaches 85% of U.S. television households via nationwide broadcast television, cable and satellite distribution systems.
