Peacocks Selects GSI Commerce for Next-Generation E-Commerce Solution
Partnership with leading UK fashion value retailer expanded and extended eight years; new services added
LONDON, 20 August 2009 – GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq:GSIC), the leading provider of e-commerce and multichannel solutions today announced that it has extended and expanded its partnership with Peacocks, one of the UK’s leading fashion value retailers, to provide a comprehensive e-commerce solution including web technology, web store design, fulfilment, order processing, and call centre services.
GSI Commerce has provided Peacocks with fulfilment and customer service solutions since September 2007 and Peacocks have now decided to expand their partnership in a bid to aggressively grow its online channel. Under the eight-year agreement, GSI will now provide a full service e-commerce solution, set for launch in early 2010.
